What Happens at Camp?
Camp Knock Knock is an annual weekend program designed to support grieving families in a nurturing and safe environment. Beginning on Friday afternoon and continuing through Sunday, the camp provides a meaningful blend of emotional support and connection.
What sets our bereavement camp apart is its whole-family approach—children and the adults who attend camp with them participate in age-appropriate grief support groups, led by experienced facilitators. These sessions foster healing, understanding, and shared resilience.
Beyond emotional support, Camp Knock Knock offers a full array of traditional camp experiences the whole family can enjoy. CKK offers arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor recreation, entertainment, and a Saturday night campfire complete with singing and s’mores.
To get a sense of the flow of the weekend, please view a sample schedule below. While the core structure remains consistent each year, specific entertainment and program times may vary.
